In what was a fantastic month for international recognition, November saw Elephant Hills be awarded a Prefered Partner Award by Travel Counsellors as their Leisure Supplier of the Year for 2018. Ending 2018 in style, we’re proud to announce that Elephant Hills has been awarded the Responsible Thailand Award in the category of Eco Lodge for our floating Rainforest Camp. Elephant Hills Wins PATA’s Gold Award 2017 under the category of “Environment – Ecotourism Project”
The judges awarded us for our efforts in conservation and community related projects including our Elephant Conservation Project, Children’s Project and our Wildlife Camera Trapping Project all focused in and around Khao Sok National Park.

National Geographic Traveler announced Elephant Hills to be Asia’s only finalist in its prestigious World Legacy Awards 2016, category “Conserving the Natural World”. National Geographic honoured Elephant Hills’ efforts to promote sustainable animal tourism.

In 2014, the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Wanderlust Magazine ranked Elephant Hills as “highly commendable” in their Thailand Green Excellence Awards for Animal Welfare – the highest rank of any elephant camp in Thailand in this category!

The Trip Advisor Hall of Fame Award is a clear indication of the continued quality of the services that Elephant Hills provides to its guests. The Hall of Fame award is given to companies that have received the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence for five consecutive years – 2015 was the fifth year for Elephant Hills.
Virgin Holidays: Partnership Award for Sustainable Tourism – Silver Award 2012
Virgin Holidays from the United Kingdom handed us their prestigious Partnership Award for Sustainable Tourism in Silver in 2012 for our already by then highly advanced animal caretaking procedures. Since then, we have developed further, but unfortunately Virgin Holidays has stopped giving out this award afterwards.
