The World Travel Awards (WTA) Asia & Oceania Gala Ceremony 2023, held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, celebrated outstanding travel brands across the region. Vietnam received recognition as ‘Asia’s Leading Destination,’ with various other accolades, including ‘Asia’s Leading Emerging Tourism Destination,’ ‘Asia’s Leading City Destination’ for Hanoi, and ‘Asia’s Leading Business Travel Destination’ for Ho Chi Minh City. Australia was honored as ‘Oceania’s Leading Destination,’ and Melbourne was named ‘Oceania’s Leading City Destination.’
The event also acknowledged excellence in hospitality, with winners like Shilla Monogram Quangnam Danang and Raffles Singapore. The aviation sector saw Singapore Airlines and Vietnam Airlines taking top honors, while travel providers like Vietravel and Abercrombie & Kent were recognized. These awards celebrate the best in the travel and tourism industry across Asia and Oceania.
