Elephant Hills are Thailand’s first Luxury Tented Jungle Camps including award-winning nature adventure tours. We are blending the safari camp idea of African national parks with the spectacular tropical evergreen forest environment of southern Thailand’s Khao Sok National Park.
Elephant Hills comprises of two camps, the Elephant Camp and the Lake Camp. At both camps you will be staying in spacious luxury glamping tents made from waterproof canvas which are fully equipped with all the amenities you would find in a regular 4-star hotel room to make your stay in the jungle as comfortable as possible.
Our camps are situated in the Khao Sok National Park which is part of southern Thailand’s largest stretch of primary rainforest in the Surat Thani province. The Elephant Camp, our main camp is located at the edge of the national park while the Lake Camp, our secondary camp is situated in the middle of the Cheow Larn Lake, a 165 km2 large lake in the heart of Khao Sok. All our Elephant Hills Tours start at the Elephant Camp and you will always spend your first night there.
Despite being tucked away in the lush greens of the rainforest Elephant Hills is still in a prime location and can be reached from all major tourist destinations like Phuket, Khao Lak, Khanom, Krabi and even Koh Samui in just a few hours.
Please note that for your convenience our standard transfers are included in the tour price.

“True confessions, I am an elle fanatic. I have stayed at Elle camps in Africa over the years so when I put a trip together to Thailand, staying here was a no brainer. This place is well run but is very structured. You get put into a group of 10 and that is your group for the visit. Personally I would have appreciated a bit less structure and less same group but I get why they do it that way. The guide I had was good and was patient with my many “what kind of a bird is that” and “What kind of a butterfly is that” kinds of questions. The time with the Elles was magical. There is NOTHING that beats giving an Elle a bath (they LOVE water!) and feeding them was hilarious as most of them just want the dessert pineapple. You will see if you go and I hope you do as these people are doing great conservation work and take I believe very good care of the Elles. Go – you won’t regret it”
“My wife and I booked the 3 day, 2 night Jungle Lake Safari tour. It was wonderful and easily the highlight of our trip to Thailand. The tour was incredibly well organized. I always say the best events are the ones where everything runs smoothly and you don’t even realize the logistics going on in the background. This was definitely the case. The transfer from our resort in Krabi was seamless. Upon arrival lunch was ready and so was our rooms. The elephant experience was perfect and exactly how my wife wanted to spend her birthday. After our float trip down the Sok river we arrived back at camp to find a birthday cake for my wife left in our tent! We never told them it was her birthday. They noticed it when copying her passport at check-in and had a cake sent to us. The floating rainforest camp was amazing and a great way to disconnect from the rest of the world. This whole 3 day experience was top notch from start to finish. I have been recommending it to all of my friends who are planning future trips to Thailand”
“We stayed at Elephant Hills March 2020 for the 3 days 2 nights. 1 night in main camp and 1 night in floating tent rainforest camp. We cant fault anything we absolutely loved this part of our holiday. The food was the best of our holiday with excellent choice and quantity. We washed and fed the elephants which was the highlight of course then the following day moved into the rainforest. I must add that the Khao Sok national park doesn’t allow alcohol which came as a surprise but you can drink in the main on land camp. We was in team Venus who was brilliant very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, she never tired and was with us every step of the way. Brilliant work being done by the whole team. So well organised”
“This was the most amazing place and we couldn’t fault it all. We were so well looked after and the ‘tent’ we stayed in was very luxurious. We were fed three times a day with beautiful food, smiley faces and the most friendly people you could ever meet. The organised trips were excellent but meeting and interacting with the elephants by far surpassed my expectations. My dreams all came true when we were allowed to touch the elephants, feed them and my favourite, wash them. They were so gentle, friendly and funny. If you do nothing else when visiting Thailand, you must do this. The experienced, friendly and informative guides were fantastic. I would definitely go again.”
