We are pleased to let you know that, for the second year in a row, we have been announced winners of the World Travel Awards in the category “luxury camping”.
The results follow a year-long search for the world’s top travel, tourism and hospitality brands.
The World Travel Awards were established in 1993 to recognize and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the travel, tourism, and hospitality industries. This year, the World Travel Awards celebrates its 27th anniversary with a prestigious and comprehensive program- an annual Grand Tour, which is a series of regional gala ceremonies within each continent, leading up to a Grand Final at the end of the year.
The World Travel Awards Grand Tour 2020 features regional gala ceremonies in the Caribbean (Bahamas), Europe (Antalya, Turkey), Africa & Indian Ocean (Nairobi, Kenya), Latin America (Santiago, Chile), North America (Thompson Okanagan, British Columbia, Canada), Asia & Oceania (Seoul, South Korea) and Middle East (Dubai).
Just like in 2019, we were pitched against nominees from all over Asia and we are proud to have been voted as the winners by a mixture of those within the travel industry and the public- gaining the most votes in our category.
Despite the challenges faced by the travel industry over the course of 2020, the Word Travel Awards nomination program has reported record visitor traffic and engagement from the public voter.
This shows that the appetite for tourism will always be there and it offers much needed encouragement for the future.
