Restoring Nature: Elephant Hills’ Reforestation Efforts at Khlong Phanom National Park
Elephant Hills is proud to have participated in a significant reforestation initiative at Khlong Phanom National Park. This event aimed to restore the natural habitat by planting native tree species and reclaiming encroached forest areas.
The tree planting event took place at Khlong Phanom National Park with approximately 100 participants. The group included the director of the national park, rangers, foresters, local villagers, and students from Baan Bang Sarn School. The goal was to plant native tree species such as Burmese rosewood and bamboo in areas previously encroached upon by locals. The national park authorities are committed to reclaiming and restoring these forest areas.
Elephant Hills supported the event by sponsoring food and beverages for all participants. Additionally, our team actively participated in planting the local tree species alongside other volunteers. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to environmental conservation and community support.
The reforestation event at Khlong Phanom National Park was a successful collaboration between various stakeholders, including national park authorities, local communities, and Elephant Hills.
