Bringing Smiles to Baan Sob Harn School with ‘Pack with Purpose

At Baan Sob Harn School in Mae Sariang, we had the joy of delivering “Pack with Purpose” items such as pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, notebooks, crayons, calculators, and other essential stationery. Along with these, we brought warm clothes, educational toys, and games—all generously donated by our kind guests who visited Elephant Hills.

The Elephant Hills team, in partnership with The Bush Camp Chiang Mai, made the 3-hour journey from Chiang Mai to reach the school in Mae Sariang, the small town in Mae Hong Son province. We were warmly welcomed by 30 students, ranging from kindergarten to grade 6, and it was heartwarming to see their excitement.

Before our visit, the teachers informed us that some children, especially those without Thai citizenship or from the Thailand-Myanmar border, were using donated cuddle toys as makeshift pillows. To ensure they sleep comfortably, especially with winter approaching, we brought additional pillows and blankets to support them.
