Over the past couple of years, we have established great relationships with many of the schools we support in the Northern Thailand within our Children’s Project. Baan Mae Tob Nuea School is no exception, and it was wonderful to visit the teachers and students again for our fifth donation event.
Prior to our visit, the headmistress had informed us that there are some eager petanque players and sports enthusiasts amongst the students. Some students had even competed in the district’s sports competitions and succeeded well. However, the school didn’t have its own petanque sets for the sports lessons and was lacking some other equipment as well.
We donated petanque sets and colorful cone markers to support the kids’ physical education. Furthermore, we brought more outdoor paints to help with renovation of the school facilities. We had also packed plenty of useful stationery, craft sets, educational toys and clothes. These were donated by our generous guests visiting Elephant Hills in Khao Sok.
Within our Children’s Project we accept donations of new or second hand items in good condition, as listed on our “Pack with a purpose” list. If you, your friends or family are planning to visit Elephant Hills, please consider bringing some useful items. All donations, big or small, are very much appreciated by us and the rural Thai children!
If you or your company would be interested in cooperating with Elephant Hills Children’s Project on a larger project through corporate sponsorship, please get in touch. We have coordinated numerous successful projects, that have greatly benefited the less privileged Thai children, as well as everyone involved.
