Empowering Baan Mae Tob Neua School: Education, Sports Equipment, Teaching Tools, Gardening, and More
We wanted to share a heartwarming update with you from our recent visit to Mae Tob Neua Village School, located near Mae Sariang in Mae Hong Son province. We went to a small school called Baan Mae Tob Neua School. With around 30 students from kindergarten to sixth grade, faces several challenges. Many students find it difficult to attend regularly, so the school’s director came up with a solution: allowing students to stay overnight during the semester and go home only during breaks. However, resources are limited, and essentials like dried food and everyday items are often lacking, especially for those staying overnight. In addition, providing school lunches has been a struggle due to insufficient government funding, exacerbated by seasonal droughts affecting crop growth. Moreover, many families cannot afford uniforms for their children, resulting in students wearing old clothes and torn socks. During our visit, we were deeply moved by the kindness and resilience of the students. We were able to bring smiles to their faces by providing much-needed items, and their warmth and politeness touched our hearts. We hope to continue supporting Mae Tob Neua Village School and make a positive impact on the lives of these students. Thank you for your ongoing support in helping us create brighter futures for these children.
